We welcome volunteers to our school. You will need to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service check prior to helping in school and we ask for a voluntary donation of £10 to help cover the cost for this. Once your DBS check has been completed, you will need to attend a Volunteer Induction training session (usually with the Headteacher or Assistant Headteacher). This session will cover some safeguarding training. There are many aspects of school life that Volunteers support with – from reading to cooking, gardening to art work, to helping with swimming! If you have a specific interest or talent, then please do let the class teacher know as we would love to utilise this!
