A typical school day usually looks like this (subject to change from time to time):
- 8.30am – Children into school
- 8.35am – Register
- 8.40-9am – Guided Reading / Reading focus and activities
- 9-10am – Maths or English
- 10-10.30am – Phonics
- 10.30-10.45am – Assembly
- 10.45-11am – Playtime
- 11am-12pm – Maths or English
- 12-1pm – Lunchtime
- 1-3pm – Other curriculum areas – Music, PE, RE, History, Geography, Art, Design and Technology, PSHE and Science
It is expected that children will arrive at school on time. Register is taken promptly at 8.35am. Any child arriving between 8.35am and 9.00am will receive a late mark on the register. Any child arriving after 9.00am without a valid explanation will have an unauthorised absence recorded for that session.
