HEAD'S WELCOME

Children are given every opportunity to learn, develop and experience new challenges.

OUR VISION

'Loving God and loving our neighbour....'

Our vision is simple. We want St Giles’ C-of-E Infant School to be the best infant school in Surrey, delivering an education that is outstanding in all areas. As a small school, we are uniquely placed to be able to meet the needs of every one of our children, which we do with a caring and supportive teaching team who are inspirational and provide a stimulating learning environment. Our varied and rich curriculum is thoughtfully designed to awaken each child’s imagination with work that is challenging and matched precisely to pupils’ varying needs. St Giles’ provides quality teaching to ensure all pupils are happy and develop strong academic and practical skills. This is all delivered in a distinctively Christian way with attention to the strong British values that celebrates the individuality and differences of every child. Each pupil is encouraged to realise their maximum potential so that they leave the school confident in their ability to succeed in their next stages of life.

Values-heart

VALUES

Our Christian Values underpin everything we do at St Giles’. Our Values are Compassion, Friendship, Thankfulness, Respect, Courage and Forgiveness. These values are overarched by Love. We teach the values through our assemblies, our RE lessons and our circle times. Each week, a child from each class is awarded a values certificate, which will show how they have demonstrated our values within the school environment.

SAFEGUARDING

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We ensure that all our employment practices reflect this commitment.

OFSTED INSPECTION 2023: GOOD

``Pupils are proud of what they learn and achieve at St Giles’. Every pupil is known as an individual, and staff expect all pupils to succeed and flourish.``
